The Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation receives grant applications for social projects.

The Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation announced the dates for receiving grant applications related to projects and initiatives applied to by non-profit charitable and social bodies and also by governmental agencies. The dates are made along two periods: the first period begins in January 20 to March 13, 2021 while the second period begins in June 11 to August 8, 2021.

In order to accept grant applications, the Foundation stipulated that candidates should represent a charitable or non-profitable organization or society and have an official permit from the relevant authority; another condition is to have a bank account in the name of the relevant organization or society. Governmental agencies and their relevant sub-parties that relate to a major institution are excluded from the last condition.

The Foundation clarified that the initiatives eligible for grants should be in one of the following areas:

• Empowering people with limited income

• Culture and Arts

• Sports

• Young national leaders

• Talented and distinguished people

• Invention and innovation

• Programming, cyber security and artificial intelligence

• Craft professions.

The Foundations explained that any grant-requesting entity should present a full vision of the project or initiative and should meet the criteria stipulated for support; these criteria include the clarity of the idea of the project and its connection with the objectives of the Foundation, the clarity of indicators that can be used to measure and evaluate the project, the empowerment it achieves, the depth of its impact, and the sustainability of this impact.
